DYHN Fitness began with DYHN Yoga by Tamarrah Phillips, a Christian practitioner who had a revelation from the Hebrew living letters Dalet, Yod, Hey, and Nun. These letters represented an invitation to be united in Christ in body, soul, mind, and spirit. This revelation inspired Tamarrah to create a Christ-centered yoga practice that goes beyond the physical postures and connects individuals with God, on a deeper level. She has since renamed this specific Practice DYHN Breath, Stretch & Flow, under the umbrella of DYHN Fitness. DYHN Fitness involves overall attention to practicing physical fitness in a way that honors God along with our natural and spiritual health.
While yoga has its roots in ancient India, Tamarrah recognized that the true mandate to honor our bodies as well as our soul and spirit, comes from Yahweh God. As Christians we can be confident that our God is the creator of all things good and beneficial. It is man who takes what is good and often times make their own spiritual pathways, outside of Jesus Christ. As Christians we know that He is the way, truth, and the life, and the only pathway to the true and living God. This is why learning of Him through fitness and exercise, is a beautiful journey of discovery.
In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we read that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are called to honor and care for our bodies as a way of worshiping and glorifying God. Additionally, in 3 John 1:2, we read that God desires for our bodies to prosper even as our soul prospers. These are wonderful scriptures that confirm Gods heart for us to practice and grow in balance in all aspects of our lives, including our physical health.

In DYHN Fitness we practice physical movement, breath-work, meditation in Christ, strength training and cardio exercises that help individuals connect in a deep way with themselves, and their creator. DYHN Fitness is designed to:
