I may not be the best, but I'm getting BETTER!

Hey there, beautiful souls! It's your favorite DYHN yoga and fitness encourager here, and I just wanted to drop a few thoughts about something that challenges me from time to time. And that is.... Being hard on myself for not being the best at everything I set out to do.

Now, I know that sounds like a tall order, but let's be real, who hasn't looked at someone else and thought, "Wow, I wish I could be that good at______"? I know I have! And while it's great to admire other people's talents, giftings and accomplishments, it's important to remember that we are all unique and have our own strengths and areas that need improvement.
Speaking from personal experience, I would consider myself confident and someone who is good at many things, but I can truly be my own worst critic when it comes to not being the absolute best or the fastest learner. Whether it's in my DYHN-yoga practice, my fitness journey, or just in life in general, I sometimes struggle with feeling like I'm not measuring up to some imaginary standard of perfection.

But here's the thing: being willing to learn and grow, even when we're not the best, is an accomplishment in and of itself - Holy Spirit reminded me of that today. It takes courage to acknowledge our weaknesses and to actively work on improving ourselves. So, if you're someone who feels like you're not the best at everything or
even some things, please know that you are not alone, and that the fact that you are trying is something to be applauded and acknowledged. Yahweh see's your efforts and the hosts of heaven are cheering you on!
Remember, progress is not always linear, and the journey towards self-improvement is often filled with ups and downs. But as long as we keep pushing ourselves and striving to be better, we are making progress.
So, my question for you is this: What's one thing you're currently working on improving, and how do you stay motivated to keep going even when it's tough? Let's start a conversation and support each other on our journeys.
“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
